Goal Finalize the RenderTree (or RenderPipeline) interface to allow advanced rendering techniques like deferred shading
Description Currently, a scene described in XML3D is rendered by a default render pipeline that is part of the polyfill implementation xml3d.js. xml3d.js already offers some ways to configure the renderer in terms of exposed parameters. It would be more preferable to have an interface to the renderer pipeline, so that users can add more advanced rendering techniques, as for example deferred shading, programmatically.
Rationale Being able to modify the render process in addition to only defining the scene leads to more compelling 3D applications
