Goal Integrate a physics engine in the 3D-UI so that scene creators and application authors can easily define physical objects
Description Besides graphics, many 3D applications require so-called physics functionality for example to detect collisions between objects.

This feature integrates a physics engine in the 3D-UI so that scene creators and application authors can easily define physical objects, for example to participate in collision detection, and hook custom logic to handling collisions.

Note that when using a server via the Synchronization GE it is possible to run physics on the server side. But with this feature we integrate it to the Web browser based 3D-UI code as well. This enables using physics also in standalone applications when a separate server is not used at all. Also when a server is used client side physics can be useful to reduce server load or to avoid network latency.

Rationale Besides graphics, many 3D applications require so-called physics functionality. For example to detect collisions between objects or simulate realistic movement with forces and inertia.
