Goal Provides means for a client application to directly subscribe or publish to sensors or actuators by using real time communication method
Description A multiplexing server socket that handles the web socket protocol. Allows user to send HTTP queries directly to sensors and allows subscribing to sensor and actuator events directly through a proxy component on event arrival basis.
Rationale Important for any application requiring real-time access to sensor or actuator data. Without this component normal browser clients could not interact with the back end server.
